The true beauty of going back and reminiscing, is being able to see God’s handprints all over your life.

How He supported you.

How He brought the right people into your life at the right times.

The no’s to prayers that turned into blessings.

The yes to prayers that took your breath away.

The way He held you in the dark moments, helped you to see those hard times were not without great purpose. He truly created beauty from ashes.

More than once, He made a way when there was no way.

You can see clearly the road He laid out before you.

Beautifully weaving triumphs and heart breaks into a beautiful masterpiece.

As much as you have strived, toiled, and stressed; you see now, how it was all Him and not you.

His strength, His love, and His purpose for you shines so brightly in your memories.

Your heart is grateful as you see His goodness, His mercy, and His grace all over your life.

Pondering God’s presence throughout the years reminds your heart He is still working, He is still making a way, and He is still supporting you through it all.

The practice of recalling brings so much hope. 

Your faith grows and you grow deeper into Him. Trusting Him through each moment and in everything that comes my way.

Take time to pause today and reflect on God's hand in your life. Make sure to share these moments with your family and friends so they can personally see the ways in which God has been present in your own life.

We earn more than our fathers ever did but we don't live richer lives. We are more educated than our fathers but we don't make wiser life choices. We travel faster and further than our fathers ever did but we know less about life. We have more technological devices than our fathers had but we don't stay more connected to our family and close ones. We have a thousand more friends and contacts than our fathers had but we don't feel more loved than they did. We have more facilities than our fathers had but we are not happier than they were.
